October 2015
Craig Mongeau - October 2015
The Buffalo Bills tickets that we’ll be giving away at the upcoming N.Y.S. Highway & Public Works Expo might be pretty valuable this go-around.
The trouble with going to press early is that this prediction may prove wrong, but as of press time, the Bills and their fans, by virtue of a convincing win over the Indianapolis Colts, have a lot to be optimistic about this young football season.
Led, of course, by the boisterous and confident Rex Ryan, the team right now believes in itself, which, in addition to talent, will be what’s required if they are to wrestle the division from the New England Patriots, something that no other team in the AFC East has been able to do since 2008, when the Miami Dolphins did it the year Tom Brady was out for the season with a knee injury.
During the Expo, one lucky attendee will win a pair of Jim Kelly Club tickets for the Jan. 3, 2016, game against the Jets.
If racing is among your interests, too, we’re also giving away a pair of tickets, including pit passes to the Watkins Glen race in August 2016.
If you attend the upcoming 21st annual N.Y.S. Highway & Public Works Expo October 21 at the Center of Progress Building in the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse, N.Y., please be sure to thank our lunch sponsors, who this year are: Henderson Products, Tracey Road Equipment, Stadium International, Trux Outfitters, Vantage Equipment.
At the Expo, visitors also can expect more than 125 exhibitors (see page 24 for a comprehensive listing) showcasing all the latest and greatest in equipment and industry services covering more than 75,000 square feet of exhibitor space inside plus an expansive exhibitor display outside.
Plenty of other door prizes will be awarded throughout the day.
And finally, if you attend and you’ve been thinking about nominating one of your colleagues (or even yourself) to be profiled in Superintendent’s Profile, the Expo is a great and easy place to get that done. Stop by the Profile Publications booth by the front door and simply leave your name and the contact information of the person you’d like to see profiled in an upcoming issue of the magazine.
We look forward to seeing all of you there October 21.
