November 2004

Craig Mongeau - November 2004

We at Profile would like to express our gratitude to everyone who exhibited and attended the 10th Annual NYS Highway & Public Works Expo on Oct. 13 at the Verizon Center of Progress building at the Fairgrounds. The weather cooperated – and it even felt a little warm by noontime.

We’d also like to thank all of you who participated in the Snow Plow Roadeo and offer our congratulations to the first, second and third place finishers – the Village of Yorkville, the Town of Hammond and the Town of Triangle, respectively. Hammond, last year’s first place Roadeo winner, almost did it again, but couldn’t hold off Yorkville. Triangle finished in second place for the two years in a row!

And congratulations to all the door prize winners, including grand prize winner Tim Brown, of the Village of Yorkville, who won a 12-gauge Browning semiautomatic “Gold Rifled Deer Hunter” limited edition collectors gun donated by Profile Publications. Danny David, of the Town of Triangle, was the lucky winner of a pair NASCAR tickets to the Nextel Cup at Pocono Motor Speedway next June, also donated by Profile Publications. Overall, it was a pretty good day for the crews the Towns of Yorkville and Triangle.

For show coverage, check out pages 34, 35, 40 and 42 for photos of exhibitors, guests, and, of course, the Snow Plow Roadeo and the major door prize winners.

Again, thank you for exhibiting and attending. Now, be sure to mark your 2005 calendar for the 11th annual NYS Highway & Public Works Expo, which will be held on October 19.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
