Well, it's finally almost showtime. The N.Y.S. Highway & Public Works Expo is the most heavily attended municipal equipment show in the Northeast and this year, we're expecting record-breaking numbers.

First, this year's Expo (to be held Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2024, at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse) will feature the most exhibitors in the history of the show. Exhibitor booth sales have been so successful that we needed to add multiple booths and as of this writing, only four booths remain available. So, if you're still thinking about joining the myriad exhibitors at the Expo, you still have some time. Please call Teddy McKeon at 215/885-2900, ext. 170, or e-mail tmckeonjr@cegltd.com right away to claim a last-minute spot. Please see the extensive exhibitor listing beginning on page 32 in this issue.

Second, we're expecting huge attendance numbers. The Expo's doors open at 8 a.m., but be sure to arrive early to get in line, so that you can get on the show floor as soon as possible to start visiting the exhibitors.

Third, remember that lunch will be served from noon to 1:30 p.m.. Again, we want to thank our lunch sponsors. Fourth, we will be awarding two grand prizes during the show. They are two grandstand tickets to a NASCAR Watkins Glen race in August 2025, including two Pit Road passes; and two Pepsi Club tickets to the Buffalo Bills vs. the New York Jets on Sunday, Dec. 29, 2024.
